NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING 

Lower Minnesota River Watershed District 

2027 Budget and Levy 

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Managers of the Lower Minnesota River Watershed District will hold a public hearing pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 103D.911 on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. to consider the District’s proposed 2027 budget and tax levies payable in 2027. 

Summary of Proposed 2027 Budget and Levy 

Total Proposed 2027 Budget: $1,825,200.00 
Total Proposed 2027 Levy: $1,840,583.88 

The proposed levy is apportioned among the counties in the District based on relative net tax capacity. 

Copies of the proposed budget and levy materials will be available for public review online or by contacting the District.
